@am_squirrel: That’s so interesting! I wonder if that could be a section where our notes are displayed 4 up
I looked back at the titles of some of our past webinars. Maybe we can use those to illustrate the four sections. Either we find posted notes from those sharing sections and/or create space for more to be added in those subsections.

So I set up a Fiverr gig. Today I had an interest email and they accepted my offer! So this is my first Fiverr gig.
It is well under the costs quoted in our forum but I just didn’t have the confidence to post a higher fee.
I think I will incremental raise it as I…Read More
I am enjoying following along with your sketchnotes.
Thank you for continuing to share 🙂
I can’t wait to see the finished product.
For the INDIVIDUAL section I like a checklist so we know what to submit:
* An archived sketchnote from early 2015 or start of V2V (to serve as a benchmarch)
* An archived sketchnote that features our most valuable tool/technique that we learned this year
* An archived sketchnote of a stand out talk, moment of self-discovery, book summary, home or…Read More
I finished what was suppose to be my first video/ overview video for my eCourse.
It feels a bit more like a trailer video. So I may use it on the course sign up landing page and make a different end card and make it the trailer video for my youtube channel.
This is the third sketchnote video that I have made. It was fun trying out the zoom features in Adobe Premiere and adding sound…Read More
@kiwitexan: why yes i am! great connection.
@tam-i-am & @dougneill: thank you for all the encouragement. it is neat that while i have wanted to do stuff for me for such a long time …. it is the community and weekly meetups that kind of help force me to make progress. I couldn’t go to sleep before finishing this video because I wanted to share at Tuesday’s feedback session 🙂 <3
Conference Follow Up:
No online sales but it was a great learning experience.
I lucked up that all of the speakers were pastors or professors. They have very organized presentations.
Still I learned to save the bottom of the page for concluding thoughts.
Also learned that dot grid paper really helped me organize live notes and “see” the rectangles of main ideas as I recorded them on the…Read More
@webmaid : it did work out well to have finished sketchnotes on hand. It helped me and actually turned out better than I thought they would.
I don’t have an answer but Matteo has mentioned a group called IFVP
They might be able to offer some answers too 🙂
This is cool.
Have you noticed changes or certain areas of growth in your sketchnoting skills?
Love it! What a fun and productive exercise.
I think the color turned out great. I wouldn’t have known the gold was running out.
Especially love the touches on the grocery bag 🙂
I really enjoy the way you use color lines as containers. I will be attempting that technique soon 🙂
You’ve inspired me 🙂
I don’t know what I’m doing, but I’m doing it.
**Please offer course correction if you can**
The conference organizers asked me to sketchnote and said I could set up an online resource to sell the notes.
I don’t think this is typical, but I have had people ask to pay for my sketchnotes.
So I don’t know what I’m doing, but I set up a page on my website.
(see for…Read More
This weekend I will Sketchnote a conference. It’s the first time that my purpose is to share the notes with other attendees. The organizers, that asked me to note take, we’re kind enough to not promise or advertise the sketchnotes. I crack under pressure 🙁
So as I prepare my notebooks for the weekend I have put a couple of completed sketchnotes in the front of each book. It’s just a…Read More
Awesome! Thank you for sharing your journey.
It’s so awesome that you have a goal for the end of the 30 day journey!
I love that as we practice we also gain all this knowledge as well.
Sweet! I like the way you use color for accent (big words or outlining boxes) and to color items in (the trees, the jacket).
Have you tried using a grey marker to create shadows? Matteo did that in one of the webinars and I quickly “stole like an artist” and started adding grey as well at the end of the drawing
Thank you for the book information. I am…Read More
Thank you for sharing.
Are you current plans to keep up with the series?
I enjoyed the sketchnotes and your notes on what you learned while live sketching.
Sweet! And I like how you show your sketches here too 🙂
I want to know more! Your notes are engaging and I seriously want to hear the speakers.
Where is the 7 Habits to & Figures? You gave a great summary but it has also peaked my interest.
Do you do these live? I love your sense of space and use of the page.
I just searched back to read this again.
Gotta keep the goal in front of me <3
