The WHY of a yearbook is the chance to look back for reference and as a benchmark for progress.
REFERENCE: This is a community and we’ve learned so much from each other, the curated workshop topics, and our source material: TedTalks, books, country songs, etc.
BENCHMARK: Even if we’re not actively Learning in Public on individual platforms we are Learning in Public in the community. The evolution is perfect to capture in a yearbook. That’s the fun part of _embarassing_ yearbook photos of ourselves and others. It’s encouraging to see “where we came from” and strangely inspiring to see growth in our heroes as well.
