There is an official process to follow to make everything accessible. It’s provincial law and my uni is ptetty good over all about it. (It’s horrible for profs with disabilities, but I digress). All written texts must be machine readable. All vids must both have available subtitles and transcriptions/scripts that are machine readable. On top of that, students who register with the disability office have access to computers with special software and equipement, aid and support, if they can’t provide their own. Not all students with disabilities avail themselves of those, or even regiater with disabilities. Exceptionally, because my course is bilingual, they’re going to do it in both French and English, a first at my very proudly Anglo uni.
